The International Council of Nurses will be hosting a series of regional webinars to look at next steps in implementing the WHO Strategic Directions for Nursing and Midwifery, 2021-2025.

We are excited to announce that the first webinar will be held on July 20th at 15h00 (CET) and will focus on the African Region. This "Nursing Education & Workforce - Implementing the Strategic Directions in the ECSA Region" webinar will consider the evidence and recommendations for the Eastern, Central and Southern African region from the recently released report on nurse education and labour markets in the region from the World Bank, ICN, Jhpiego and ECSACON. We will look at its relevance and use for supporting implementation of the Strategic Directions.

All Nursing Now Groups and National Nurses Associations are very welcome to join us but we are particularly interested in the participation of organisations from the Africa region.
